Craft Fair Incoming, Less Streams For a Bit

I've been working hard getting pieces ready for a craft fair coming next month, but I'm still way behind where I'd like to be right now. I was hoping it wouldn't have to come to this, but I need to cancel some streams to work on pieces.

This week, Sunday - Tuesday streams are canceled. I'm streaming Layers of Fear for Halloween (Wednesday), followed by the costream on Thursday and The Friday FREE GAME Feature!

The first couple of weeks in November, I'll only be streaming on Thursdays and Fridays. MMOMG is canceled next month, and will probably return in January. The stream for Friday, Nov. 16 is also canceled since I need to be up early the next morning.

After November 17th, streams should return to normal. I'm not sure what I'll be streaming in November, but I've got enough games in backlog to more than cover it. Maybe I'll start a lengthy RPG and roll it through December as well!

This is only for a couple of weeks, so bear with me! Thanks for understanding!

Eversion - The Friday FREE GAME Feature!

Eversion is a 2D platformer with a classic pixel art style in the vein of Super Mario Bros., but with a couple of interesting twists. You can hear my (relatively spoiler-free) thoughts on the game at 3:19:07 in the video above. Note that if you want to avoid spoilers before playing the game, you should not watch any of the video prior to this spot.

Also, the free version seems to be Windows only. An HD version exists with extra features and higher res graphics available for Windows, Mac and Linux, but it's about $5 on Steam.

Friday the 13th: Killer Puzzle - The Friday FREE GAME Feature!

Friday the 13th: Killer Puzzle puts you in the role of the machete-wielding slasher Jason Voorhees. Slaying every camper isn't always as easy as it seems, though. Jason only moves in a straight line as far as he can, stopping only when reaching an obstacle, person or the edge of the map. This unusual movement forms the basis of the game's puzzle mechanic, as only a specific pattern will let you get to every victim. You can find my thoughts on the game at 3:21:39 in the above video.

On a side note, using the tape method for mini beads on the circular board is a bit of a nightmare. Unlike square boards, you can't easily predict where the beads are when poking holes. Also, good luck just using the board itself to poke the holes - you have to line it up perfectly. Instead, I had to make the holes one-by-one with a lamp focused on the piece so I could see where the beads were.

Perceptions of the Dead is a fully-voiced visual novel that features three spooky stories! My overall thoughts on the title are pretty positive, but you can find my detailed thoughts on the game at 2:54:58 in the video above.
