I haven't uploaded a video for a while, so let me premiere "Bethesda Blunders!" episode 1!

Christmas Shopper Simulator 1 & 2 - The Friday FREE GAME Feature!

Christmas Shopper Simulator (and its sequel) is an open-ended affair with a tongue-in-cheek take on holiday shopping! While you can find a quick summary of my thoughts on the games at 2:11:55 in the video above, I think "goofy fun" explains it well enough!

The sequel even has a couple of free add-ons, allowing you to play as an ant or a fly. I skipped these mainly so all of you have something to try that wasn't shown during the stream, but they both sound pretty fun!

Bonus Game - Little Red Riding Hood

During last week's stream, I also got to play Little Red Riding Hood, the first game made by Noblesix117 (Tyler Addison). Disclaimer: I am friends with the developer, but have tried to remain as unbiased as possible.

While the game is short (initially designed under limited time for a recent Game Jam), Noblesix117 has expressed interest in developing the title further. You can see some of his animation tests and other videos on YouTube and Twitter.

Stein.World - The Friday FREE GAME Feature!

Stein.World is a 2D MMORPG with a 16-bit art style, playable in your browser or via its game client. While my thoughts on the game can be found at 3:02:07 in the video above, please note this is from the perspective of after only several hours of play and should be treated as a "first impression".

Defiance 2050 - Better Than Warframe, Fight Me! - MMOMG

After a brief (and mostly regrettable) stint in Worlds Adrift, I was ready to try just about any MMO to fill out the rest of July. It so happened that Defiance 2050 had just went live, and several of my regular viewers suggested I give it a go. At first glace, the game didn't look like something I'd really enjoy, but it turns out that looks can sometimes be deceiving. Unfortunately, the game's future is currently somewhat up in the air due to Gamingo's recent buyout of Trion Worlds properties... though I'll get into the details of that later on. First, let's talk about the game itself.

The Pinball Arcade - The Friday FREE GAME Feature!

The Pinball Arcade simulates the experience of playing on a variety of iconic tables about as accurately as possible (minus the atmosphere of actually being in an arcade, of course). I have mixed feelings overall about this title. While it does a good job representing the tables, the download (at least on PC) is way too large to justify the limitation of 2 available tables for free players. Note that I'm not complaining about the limitation itself, but I have the impression that the DLCs are technically already installed and are simply unlocked with purchase.
